I had a great time staying at Iron Gates in Diocletian's Palace. It was an incredible experience to be inside a 1700 year old building. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the old town. the apartment was tastefully designed and had window shutters to protect from street noise. Cristina on reception was very nice and helpful. the cost was fair, making it a great value for the location and amenities.
Nothing to be said. 😊

The apartment we stayed in had a cozy seating area with a comfortable sofa, making it perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We absolutely loved the air-conditioning in our twin room! It provided a refreshing and cool atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep. The private entrance in our apartment added an extra touch of privacy and convenience during our stay. It made us feel like we had our own little retreat. Having a washing machine in the private bathroom was a great bonus. It allowed us to do some laundry and pack clean clothes for the rest of our trip.
Although the room had a flat-screen TV and iPod docking station, we didn't find much use for them. However, others might still enjoy these amenities.

The Iron Gates hotel provided a comfortable stay with spacious rooms and a convenient location. The two bedroom apartment I stayed in was beautifully decorated with unique art pieces, giving it a charming and artistic ambiance. having a fridge in the room was a great convenience, allowing me to store snacks and drinks for whenever I needed them.
One minor drawback I experienced during my stay at the Iron Gates was the lack of windows in my room. This made the space feel a bit claustrophobic and deprived of natural light.

We had a fantastic stay at these well-presented apartments. The location was ideal, just steps from the hilltop and right by the fish market. It was also close to the center, making it easy to explore the city. The room was comfortable and had plenty of storage space. The staff were friendly and provided useful tips and information during our stay.
The bathroom had some flooding issues, which was a minor inconvenience.

The exposed stone walls and traditional elements made me feel like I was living in a little piece of history. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide enough for me to navigate with ease and the staff kindly offered assistance whenever needed.
If only the children working there could organize some activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

I had an absolutely mind-blowing stay at this apartment! The kitchen was super well-equipped and the separate sitting area was jaw-droppingly perfect for relaxation. The storage space was wow-worthy, and the fridge and microwave allowed us to save money on groceries from the excellent nearby supermarket. The location was beyond amazing, within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The hosts, especially Cristina on reception, were incredibly nice and helpful. The apartment was tastefully designed and the window shutters were a great feature to protect from street noise. I can't recommend this place enough!

I absolutely loved the charming and elegant decor of this apartment. The exposed stone walls added a touch of history and character, making me feel like I was truly experiencing the local culture. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The location was just perfect, with easy access to the main square and stunning views. It was also situated in a quieter area, which was ideal for lighter sleepers like me. the decoration, general areas, and accessibility made my stay enjoyable and comfortable.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the hotel to provide assistance with carrying luggage. As an older traveler, it was a bit challenging for me to carry everything, especially when there was limited parking available and the old town was not accessible by car.

It was close to the center, with the fish market and many other attractions just a short walk away. We were pleasantly surprised by the recently renovated room at Iron Gates. Everything was new and clean, making for a comfortable stay. The beds were particularly comfortable and there were plenty of towels. We also appreciated the fridge in the room. Despite arriving early, we were able to leave our bags at the meeting point and enjoy a leisurely lunch.
One downside was the difficulty we had in reaching the host and finding the meeting place, causing some anxiety. Additionally, there were a few issues with the apartment, such as the shower, TV, bedside lamp.

Title: A Memorable Stay in Split
I would have loved to have more accessible amenities for senior guests, such as grab bars in the bathroom and an elevator to avoid climbing stairs with heavy luggage. It would have made my vacation even more enjoyable and convenient.

Recently renovated room with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a fridge. Convenient location near the main square, supermarket, pharmacy, and small bar. Spacious 2-bed apartment with balcony, barbecue, hammock, telescope, A/C. Ideal for families or larger groups, sleeps 6 comfortably.
Ant issue caused discomfort. Unhelpful staff who failed to provide expected amenities and, in some cases, moved guests to alternative, inadequate accommodations without explanation or reimbursement.
